Karbosan is a pioneer of the abrasive industry in Turkey. Since 1967, Karbosan has been developing and perfecting its processes and technologies for production of abrasives. The start was marked by a factory of 9.000m2 and 40 employees in Halkali, Istanbul.

Today, with two factories and over 50.000m2 and 1000 employees, Karbosan is one of the biggest manufacturers of abrasives in the world. The success of this company is due to their excellent response to customers requests from all over the world. Karbosan is exporting abrasives on 5 continents and over 50 countries.

Karbosan is active member of F.E.P.A. (Ferderation of European Producers of Abrasives) as well as member of OSA (Organisation for Safety of Abrasives). Both organisations care for development and perfection of the safety and quality in the use of abrasives as well as the implementation of the European EN and ISO Norms.

In their production program, Karbosan has developed abrasives and discs for cutting and grinding of all types of steel, cast iron, aluminium, stainless steel, stone, granite, marble, ceramics, wood, pvc, concrete, etc.
